How to setup Google Chromecast with Windows PC to watch DivX on your TV

This Windows tutorial explains how to setup Google Chromecast with Windows PC to watch DivX on your TV.Google Chromecast is a media streaming device that plugs into the HDMI port on your TV and you can cast you favorites applications, videos, DivX via Android phone, tablet, iPhone, iPad, Mac or Windows Pc or laptop.

You need the following requirements to setup Google Chromecast

1. Google Chromecast device. You could buy it from Google website (http://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/devices/chromecast/) for the price of $35. You could also check how much Google Chromecast cost.2. Windows 8 or Windows 7 PC with wireless network adapter and Chrome browser installed.3. TV with HDMI port.

1. Connect you Chromecast device to your TV. It should be connected in the HDMI port and in the TV USB for power supply (if you have not USB port then you could use the power supplier cable). Find the INPUT section and choose the HDMI channels till you see the Chromecast screen with the name of the device WIFI network.3. After successfully installation you could see the Google cast icon on the upper right corner of your Chrome browser.8. You will have 2 options to play your DivX, AVI or other video format files via “Cast this tab” and “Cast entire screen”.
